Ebersole Football - Week 3

One more week of football down. It was a great week for both boys. Austin won his game at Schuylkill Valley on Tuesday afternoon. He was pretty excited about it. They played the game at Schuylkill Valley and that's about a half an hour away from us, so that makes it really hard for us to make it. Austin said it was okay that we didn't go because they won & the only game they lost was the one we went to at home two weeks ago. Much to his dismay, we will be going to the Wilson game on Tuesday. Wouldn't miss it for the world.

Aidan played yesterday against Central Catholic Youth Organization. It was a good game overall. He played offense & defense for most of the game.

I tried to put circles around him in the photographs so you can pick him out without me having to give a long explanation as to which child he is in a sea of white jerseys.

The score was tied 0-0 with 10 seconds left in the game. Mifflin had the ball on the 50 yard line. They snapped the ball - the ball was tossed to another member of Aidan's team and I thought Aidan got tied up tackling on the line when from out of the blue, here he comes. Running in front of the ball carrier and then hurling himself Superman style at two members of the defense, knocking them down. The clock ran out, and the boy ran in for a touchdown. Talk about exciting!
